To play a game 24/7 which is beyond retarded I think if I was actually playing on a level playing field, so to speak (neither benefitting from nor being hindered by players multiple ages ahead/behind me), I would enjoy the progression of the game. In a WW, at best I can mop up low level bases using donated troops. A couple cycles and I'm maxed on resources. Up-level alliance donate coldwar or better troops. My perception has more to do with game dynamics. I just stepped back a bit and considered. Right now I was sitting on a fully upgraded/researched gunpowder age base.
